Shopping the New In Section

Today’s amalgamation of items we’re coveting comes from the ‘New In’ sections of some of our favourite retailers. We’ve become so accustomed to the ‘New In’ page, we’re clicking on it daily to feast our eyes on the latest of the newbie bunch.

The Trousers. Topshop brings it when it comes to patterned trousers, and we love these dogtooth leggings for sprucing up a monochrome outfit. Thick enough to wear as trousers, teamed with a white tee it’s effortless fashion in the blink of an eye. Topshop Dogtooth Leggings, £25.

The Dress. It’s summer, and we’re still not over these floral patterns that keep popping up on the scene. This floral print skater dress is on the top of our wishlists, thanks to its versatility – pair it with some nude heels for an evening look, or brown sandals for a picnic with friends at the weekend. The Clutch. The Topshop Saffiano Zip Pouch is the perfect solution for all those times when it’s just not necessary to lug the entire contents of your bag with you. Big enough to house all your essentials, it’s ideal for evenings out with friends or a quick nip to the shops. It also comes in a floral version, and at £8, quite frankly it would be rude not to. The Boots. Even though summer is in full bloom, we’re suckers for ankle boots and skinny jeans which is why we’ve added these Topshop boots into the mix. With barely a heel, these will be perfect come autumn once the rain starts to make an appearance. Groan. Topshop BLIGHTY Chelsea Boots, £45.

The Skincare Product. The HealGel range has been carefully curated by leading surgeons to develop a range of products that combat a myriad of skin concerns. We were instantly drawn to this as a post-sun treatment, aimed to heal and soothe the skin. We’ve also heard it’s great for dry skin (goodbye, dry elbows!) and reducing bruising. 5 Things We’ll Be Buying in This Summer’s Sale….

Yesterday two of the high street heavyweights, Topshop and ZARA launched their summer sales, and we couldn’t be more chuffed with what’s made the cut. A whole bevy of dresses, shorts and beautiful shoes! With the height of summer just around the corner, we’re on holiday countdown mode. We’ve been thinking about our summer essentials, for both home and away. If there’s five things you buy in this season’s sales, let it be these….

The Bikini. We always find mix and match bikini separates a lot easier to pack for – there’s so many more options than the bikini sets which means more packing space for other clothes – but this polka dot frill bikini set could be teamed with plain black bikini tops or bottoms to add a few extra swimwear options. The Handbag. ZARA bring it when it comes to handbags and shoes, and they form our favourite part of the sales season.  There’s a lot of excellent handbag choices in their sale at the moment, but this messenger bag just tips it to the top for us. If we could buy them all we would.. The Shoes. We are all over nude sandals this summer, and we love the gold detailing on these too. For less than £20 we’ll be snapping these up STAT and adding the black version into our shopping baskets whilst we’re at it. High Heel Sandal, £19.99 from ZARA. 

The Necklace. Our ‘go to’ outfit of the moment includes a pair of our finest skinny jeans paired with a boxy top and a chunky necklace to ramp it up a level. Topshop’s sales are always best for picking up some very affordable jewellery pieces, and as we’ve had our eye on this necklace for a long time now, it would be rude not to take advantage of the discounted price. Cut-out crescent necklace, £5.50 from Topshop.

The Vest Top. For a basic top with an edge, we love this woven mix vest from Topshop – great for wearing with some skinny jeans or layering underneath a black leather jacket. Woven Mix Vest, £8 from Topshop.
