How to Dress like Mollie King

Shorts: Oasis // Trousers: Topshop // Blue Cami: Topshop // Pink Cami: New Look // Skort: Warehouse

As we move into summer, our style has transitioned away from knitted jumpers towards lighter layers and bold prints. It seems that there is no one else who does it better than our current style inspiration, the lovely Mollie King from The Saturdays. Mollie always looks immaculately dressed, with a wardrobe that focuses heavily on loud prints. These Topshop Abstract Shadow Floral Joggers or this skort from Warehouse (£35) seem like the perfect way to channel your inner Mollie King. Her love for prints and patterns is balanced out with plain tops, lending for a sophisticated look that is well put together. Different coloured camis are a great and inexpensive way to update a look. Of course we couldn’t write an ode to Mollie’s style without a nod to her recent collaboration with Oasis – can we just buy the whole collection please? We love these Oasis Tropical Forest Shorts (£35) teamed with a colourful cami. Finish off your Mollie inspired outfits with matching accessories, and voila, you’ll be turning heads.

How to Dress like Jess Day, New Girl

Written by: Jessie Leong

In case you missed it, the first in our two-part New Girl series (found here) focused on our makeup recommendations inspired by Jess Day. Today we’re rounding it off by providing a few tips on how to channel your style to fit in with Jess.

Prints and bold colours: There’s no such thing as a monochrome outfit when it comes to Jess, instead she opts for bold colours and prints. Jess once said, ‘I rock a lot of polka dots’ and it’s true, she’s the queen of print-on-print style. Whatever she chooses, the bright colours and prints always blend seamlessly together to create the perfect outfit. Opt for a patterned skirt teamed with a bright coloured top, or a bright, printed dress.

Accessories: Jess teams any outfit with simple accessories; her geek glasses have become a statement to most outfits that she wears, and she chooses flats over heels which is welcome news for anyone who is looking to recreate her style.  Add some more character into your outfit with bows, small cross-body handbags and geek glasses.

Nightwear: As much as we love Jess’ day time wardrobe, we’re also envious of her pyjama collection. We think this bunny print Lola Rose pyjama set has Jess Day written all over it, whilst COS and Cath Kidston do some pretty sets too. Nearly all of Jess’ pyjamas are sets, so we recommend any pastel-pink, patterned pyjama sets.

There we have it, our quick guide on how to make your wardrobe Jess Day friendly. We definitely recommend this website, Dress Like New Girl which is dedicated to Jess Day’s style including some exact matches to her outfit choices.
